For those interested in a good movie experience, go to SouthPoint - you'll pay less and pick your own seat. Seniors are seniors with or without an AARP card - they were welcome to check my license for my date of birth. We ordered the same at GVR and it was $31.00!!! I asked about a senior discount at the concession and it is only given with an AARP card which we don't have and have no desire to get. The Green Valley Ranch resort uses our 50/50.
At SouthPoint, it's about $14.00 including a senior discount. The Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa & Casino property in Las Vegas, Nevada features hotel bedding made by Downlite. Then to add 'insult to injury', we are people who enjoy popcorn & soda at a movie. When we got to our seat, we were sandwiched between other people. When we paid our $4.00/each we had to actually pick a seat!! I don't know about you but we enjoy sitting where there is room on either side of us to use the armrests. We purposely picked Wednesday which is $4.00 for seniors - same as SouthPoint except they have senior day on Mondays and $5.25 day on Tuesdays which makes them have more choices for saving money. Players of all skill levels will find a game 24 hours a day. But we wanted to see 'Stan & Ollie' which was only at the Regal theaters at GVR near our house. Features a variety of tables offering Texas Hold Em, Omaha and more. If I were reviewing them, I'd give them a 5 rating. My husband and I usually go to Cinemark at SouthPoint Hotel to see movies.
